Boosts are optional, one-time micro-promotions that increase your restaurant's visibility in the Blabberly discovery feed for a limited time. They are available to all partner tiers — Discovery, Growth, and Pro.
Boost power is not the same for every restaurant. Your boost effectiveness scales with your quality score.
Your quality score is a composite metric (0-100%) based on two factors:
For example, a restaurant with a 4.2-star average and strong engagement might have an 84% effectiveness score, meaning their boost delivers 84% of the maximum possible visibility increase. A 5-star restaurant with excellent engagement would receive the full 100%.
New restaurants without enough data start with a generous default score of 80%.
We designed this system to keep the discovery feed trustworthy. Boosts should amplify great restaurants, not substitute for quality. A restaurant that consistently delivers great food and experience gets more value from every dollar spent on boosts — and their customers get better recommendations.
If your score is lower than you'd like, improving your food, service, and customer experience will naturally raise it over time. Your boost effectiveness updates as your quality score changes.
Boosts increase your visibility — they do not guarantee clicks, saves, or foot traffic. Actual results depend on your menu quality, photos, ratings, and how you compare to other restaurants in your area.
Blabberly reserves the right to adjust boost pricing, effectiveness calculations, and the discovery algorithm. We will notify active partners of material changes via email.
